Do you have a homeschool mom in your life? Your wife, sister, daughter, niece, or just a good friend? Are you looking for something that she’s sure to love? Check out these gifts for homeschool moms for ideas to pamper her.

Experience-based Gifts for Homeschool Moms
With all of the homeschool materials and educational toys that can quickly clutter up our houses, gifts of experiences are much loved! Look to their local aquariums, zoos, and museums for annual passes. These are places that we love taking our kids anyway. Annual passes make that so much easier!
While they’re not necessarily just for the homeschool moms, we also love experiences for our kids. Look for businesses offering quality art classes, engineering classes, martial arts, or experiences such as indoor rock climbing and obstacle courses. The costs for these classes can add up quickly, so this can help us give these experiences to our kids. We may even participate ourselves!
Gifts Homeschool Moms Want
Subscription to a meal planning tool. Okay, this may not look like a great gift idea, but this has been such a time and money saver for us! It’s a recipe organizer, drag and drop meal planner, and it auto-generates an editable grocery list. Meal planning only takes me about 10 minutes a week with Plan to Eat. Seriously, it’s been a game changer for me.
Homeschool Style Co. has some fun homeschool themed shirts, hats and accessories for moms, dads, and even grandparents! Plus, it’s run by a homeschool family, so we can have stylish graphic tees and support another homeschool family in the process. Double win!
An Instant Pot will cut down her time in the kitchen and help her put great meals on the table after a long day homeschooling the kids. Yes she’s home all day with the kids, but that doesn’t mean she’s not busy. Check out this 6 Qt version with 7 different functions.
Laminator – It’s a little cliche, but we really do love our laminators. This is so handy when creating and using printables for our kids, so we don’t have to reprint pages so often.
Noise canceling headphones are wonderful for those times when we need to get our lesson planning done with a little quiet or want to kick back with an audio book or music. These are also great when flying!
Specialty coffee and tea are special treats for us to kick start our days. I’m a big tea fan, so I love sipping it all day which helps keep my voice going with all the reading aloud I do! I really enjoy the Solstice Tea company’s loose leaf tea samplers.
High quality indulgent chocolate is always a winner. This is a wonderful treat that is perfect for sneaking during tough days.
A babysitter – Yes, really. While most of us love hanging out with our kids, it is nice to get away by ourselves for a bit. Everyone needs some down time. Offer to watch the kids for an afternoon so she can do whatever she wants.
Does she have a hobby? Many homeschool moms don’t take the time to pursue a hobby for themselves, but it’s so important for us to have our own interests outside of life as a homeschool mom. Find out more about her hobby or think back to anything she’s mentioned that she’d love to try. If gardening happens to be an interest for her, you can find some great gift ideas here.
Gift Cards for Homeschool Moms
Sometimes it’s hard to find that special gift. Gift cards are a great place to turn! Gift cards allow homeschool moms to buy needed supplies or indulge on something for themselves. So much of our time and money is spent researching and buying supplies for our kids. It’s nice to be able to splurge on ourselves every now and then.
Our favorite stores for supplies are…
- Amazon – Perhaps with a note to spend it on herself, not her kids!
- Barnes and Noble
- Lakeshore Learning Resource (for those with younger kids)
- local craft and art supply stores
Gift cards for pampering…
- a nice local restaurant – Date night with hubby!
- Spa Finder gift cards – They work at many spas around the country.
- local gift card for a manicure and pedicure
- salon
- indulgent beauty supply stores such as Body Shop or Lush
- a local tea store – If you don’t have a local tea store, I love this gift set that I got for Christmas last year!
Treat the homeschool mom in your life this holiday season with these gift ideas that she’s sure to love. From a simple afternoon of babysitting to give her a day off to experiences the whole family will love. There’s something on this list that’s perfect for her.
