The Magic and Mystery of Trees is beautiful book from DK about the many types, functions, parts, and habitats of trees. Kids will also learn about the animals and insects living in and around them. This is a wonderful book for elementary kiddo but even my middle schooler enjoys it.

Over and Under the Pond is part of a fun picture book series by Kate Messner. These books highlight the many creatures we can find over and under different ecosystems.
