Summer Journal for Kids
You can also use these activity ideas to encourage your kids to keep a summer memory journal. My kids like to wait a few days after the outing before writing in their journals about the adventure. My oldest especially likes having some extra time to put her thoughts together before committing to paper. Once the summer is done, they’ll have a collection of stories about their summer family fun. If your kids are younger, they can keep a picture journal to tell stories with drawings about the fun they’ve been having all summer.
